Once I...

Once I lived in the lovely Ottawa neighbourhood of the Glebe. My apartment was a tiny one bedroom, on the top floor (that was once the attic) of a house built in the early 1900's I suspect. It had everything you needed and all the shops were locally owned creating a very warm community feel. My 3 favorite spots:

Magpie Jewellery- Where you can buy stunning one of a kind, hand made jewellery by designers across Canada. Check out their website and blog!
Nicastro- great deli where you can find a great selections of cheese (hard to find in Ottawa), fresh fruit and veg, and other delicous italian delicacies
Le Boulanger Francais- for a cup of coffee, yummy bowl of soup, or a quality baguette to take away

I rode my bike everywhere, life was good :)
